Built on Doing It Right
Richard got his start in 2014 at an electrical supply house — learning the parts, the materials, and the language of the trade before ever touching a wire. From there he worked as an apprentice at Berg Electric and Rowan Electric on large commercial jobs, then at smaller residential shops learning how to work carefully in people's homes.

After 10½ years in the industry, Richard launched Thompson Electric to do things his way — no subcontractors, no padded estimates, no rushing. Outside of work he's a dad to Autumn and Lana, surfs when he can, hits the gym, and gets out into nature. His dog Samson is the unofficial TE mascot (you may have spotted him on the Google listing).
